Other owners have found resources like PayPal fundraisers, Facebook fundraising, GoFund me campaigns and using Facebook as a platform to ask family and friends to donate to a PayPal, Venmo or Cash App account have all been methods others have found helpful in raising extra funds needed for additional vet care.

You can also join the “PASS program Austin Pets Alive! Texas only” page on Facebook. Make sure to email them to request crowd-sourcing on their page, as this has proven helpful as well. Animals Staying Alive, Inc is a federally approved 501(c)3 charity providing financial assistance for emergency veterinary services for animals without sufficient means of support. Requests for assistance must include an estimate of veterinary expenses that includes the veterinary facility name, address, and contact details (email or fax required) to them at info@animalsstayingalive.com or to their fax number of (512) 857-0162. Estimate must also include the date and the name of the animal. Any approved grant funds will be paid directly to the veterinary facility. Do not send the request via social media post.
